Jeannie brings a wealth of experience and deep commitment to her role as a financial consultant and coach. In her roles at New York Life and JPMorgan Chase & Co., she has gained extensive expertise in advising at the corporate level and coaching individuals and families on building a solid financial future. In recognition of her exceptional skills, Jeannie was ranked among New York Life’s top advisors in August 2022, a testament to her outstanding ability to assist families with their life insurance needs.
Prior to joining New York Life, Jeannie served as Executive Director-Market Director at JPMorgan Chase in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, where she managed 11 retail locations and led a team of 130 employees. Under her leadership, her market achieved an impressive $6.6 billion in assets under management. Throughout her 19-year tenure at JPMorgan Chase, Jeannie demonstrated outstanding leadership, earning accolades such as the “Chase Champion” award in 2013 and 2017, as well as the “Top Manager Award” in 2012, 2013, 2016, and 2017.
In addition to her corporate roles, Jeannie is actively involved in her community and serves as the Director of Sponsorship for the Miami Chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA). She is also a member of the Miami Chamber of Commerce, United Latina, Entreprenista, and is PTA President at her daughter’s high school.
Born in the Dominican Republic and immigrating to the United States at the age of 5, Jeannie’s American journey began in Spanish Harlem where she and her mom were homeless for the first few years. Later, Jeannie would realize that her family’s financial struggles, and the teachers who encouraged her to apply for—and win—a scholarship to one of the most prestigious residence high schools in the nation, changed the course of her life.
Education has been a cornerstone in her life, culminating in the recent completion of her Executive MBA from Columbia University. She firmly believes that education, financial freedom, and sponsorship are essential for personal and professional success.
